Carmen L. Duguay

LEWISTON – Carmen L. Duguay, 77, a resident of Wales, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, with her loving family by her side at CMMC in Lewiston.

She was born April 9, 1945, in Lewiston, the daughter of Louie Tanguay and Theodora (Fortier) Tanguay. She was educated in the Lewiston schools. On March 22, 1975, in Lewiston, she married the love of her life, Phillippe A. Duguay, who passed away on Nov. 30, 2021.

She worked at a Falcon Shoe Manufacturing Co. and later as a housekeeper for over 25 years at Odd Fellows Nursing Home. Carmen was a member of the Greene Baptist Church in Greene. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, being outdoors, listening to Christian and country music, watching wrestling and Lawrence Welk on television with her husband and loved animals.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Miquelon of Lewiston, Michelle Cloutier and fiancé Carlton Corbin of Winthrop; three grandchildren, Logan, Brianna, and Kristie Miquelon; three great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Rosey, and Miles; her sister, Anita Tanguay; many nieces and nephews; and her loving dog Oliver and her cat Mittens.

She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Phillippe A. Duguay; a daughter, Diane Miquelon; a grandson, Christopher Miquelon; and two brothers, Edward and Pierre Tanguay.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the Greene Baptist Church, Main Street, Greene, Maine. Visiting hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., prior to the service. Arrangements by BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth, Maine.
