Hodgkin will instruct participants how to “do the moves” for the most popular line dances – which may include “The Macarena,” “Stayin’ Alive,” “Y.M.C.A.,” “September,” “Wobble,” “The Electric Slide,” and “The Cupid Shuffle.”

Doors on these two nights of dance lessons open at 5:30 p.m.; cash bar happy hour is from 6 to 7 p.m.; and dancing is from 7 to 9 p.m.

The Thursday Night Live events kick off July 14.

“Each Thursday night will bring something different and fun to our community! You will find karaoke, open mic, dance with live bands or DJs, and other types of social activities,” said Hodgkin. “Just as we did for the line dance lessons, doors open at 5:30 p.m.; happy hour is from 6 to 7 p.m.; and the Thursday Night Live event is from 7 to 9 p.m.”

A $5 admission fee will be charged at the door for the dance lessons and for the Thursday Night Live events. Or buy your tickets online at www.francocenter.org or by phone at 207-689-2000.
