DEAR SUN SPOTS: When they opened the upper church (of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul back in the 1930s, someone built a model of the church that was about 3 feet high. There was a photo of it in one of the local papers. I wonder if anyone still has the model or knows about its history. – Alice Bisson-Barnes, California

ANSWER: I’m putting this query out into Sun Spots Land. I’d like to think that a reader knows what became of the model of the church and has knowledge of the story to share. I hope to get lots of replies to this.
