The next Kingfield Friday Artwalk is set for 5-7:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, in Kingfield Village.
The Kingfield POPS returns the next day, June 25, after a two-year hiatus. Gates open at Kennedy Farm on Salem Street at 4:30 p.m.
High Peaks Artisans Guild welcomes two new artists this month. RJ “Bob” Gray Jr. makes leather bracelets, handbags, valet trays, and woodblock relief prints. Cynthia-Lyn Knowles draws nature, wildlife and animals with pen and ink, and paints on rocks.
Knowles also does embroidery on the tote bags she created, according to a news release from artwalk organizers.

Other Guild artists include:
• Alana Ranney, photography, jewelry and knitting: Ranney uses interesting personal photo techniques in the printing of her mysterious looking images.
• Betsy Bass, photography: Bass offers gondola photos, as well as Sugarloaf and Boothbay area and wildlife photos.
• Catherine Hudson, pottery: Hudson has small bowls to plant succulents in.
• Deborah Dubord of Good Deed brought in new tote bags and aprons. Her tote bags are made with repurposed material.
• Greg Thomas photography and paper collage: Thomas has been continuing his “Thunder the Cat” collection using color paper cut outs.
• Patty Thomas of Alpine Design continues painting on skis, and is doing commission pieces for other ski mountains and the Rockies.
• Jo Eaton of No Repeat Fiberwork, knitting hats and pins: She knits landscapes on hats, while at the guild, including Sugarloaf Mountain and the lakes.
• Lisa Leavitt of Freedom Felt does sculpting work with wool.
• Karen and Raymond Corson, frames, cribbage boards: The frames are custom and colorful. Some of their cribbage boards and frames have etched lightening which is made by running electricity through the wood grain.
• Nora West, oils and other mediums: West uses pallet knife work to capture the Sugarloaf and Maine coast areas with her unique style.
• John Brown of Twisted Creations has pieces of unique furniture, swings and lamps as well an organic looking range hood to large dining tables. He also creates commission pieces.
• Susan Taylor, oils: Taylor’s landscapes capture a Monet and Jackson Pollack feeling with a layered paint style which makes the painting in 3D.
• Patricia Buck has Sugarloaf pottery and sweaters on display, and continues to bring in new books to read.
Other venues participating in this event are Red Barn Upcycled Market with Barbara Wiencek just south of Kingfield Village, and The Stanley Museum on School Street. North of the Village on Route 27, visit the Maine Beer Shed, and Orchard Girls Cidery which is exhibiting Ulrike Stadler’s paintings and Adam Masterman’s paintings.
Back in the Village, Rolling Fatties will have entertainment; Chase Winn will be playing from 5 to 8 p.m. Most venues will be serving refreshments.
