RUMFORD – Mrs. Anne “Bettina” Bouffard, 81, died Friday June 17, 2022 at her residence on Spruce Street, Rumford, with her husband by her side.

Born in Springfield, Mass. on Jan. 13, 1941, she was a daughter of Robert and Marie A. (Bessette) DeMers. She was a graduate of Stephens High School, class of 1958. Bettina worked as a registered nurse at Rumford Hospital and she worked at the Cozy Inn as Director of Nursing, she also worked for Dr. David Phillips.

She was married in Wilton on Oct. 19, 1963 to Howard “Bill” Bouffard.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Gideon of Lewiston, Anne Roberts and husband Donald of Sidney, a son, Michael and wife Stacy of Kittery; grandchildren Haley, Olivia, Emma Gideon, Hannah Moulton and her husband Dominic, Abigail Roberts, Jack, Emerson, Avery, Hayden Bouffard; sisters Lynette Rossignol of Turner, Maida DeMers-Dobson and her husband James of Buckfield.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her daughter, Kristina.

Funeral service will be private. Interment will be held at St. John’s Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Meader and Son Funeral Home.
