Take an easy, short hike up Mt. Tire’m in Waterford in May through the first week of June and you’ll not only see a great view from the ledge at the top, but Trillium and Jack-in-the-pulpits at the base, plus Lady’s Slippers towards and at the top, blooming in that order. Hunt around up there for a bit and you’ll also see a surprise, wooden carving. Check it out and bring a picnic lunch! Terry Robinson
