Lewiston has been very fortunate to have a number of excellent state legislators, and key among them is Margaret Craven. I am so pleased that she is a candidate again for the Maine House of Representatives.

Margaret has two critical characteristics that stand out in my mind. First, she is dedicated to promoting health and social services to our citizens. The second characteristic is crucial these days, namely her willingness and ability to work “across the aisle” to ensure that legislation is high in quality and can gain the support of a strong majority of legislators.

We need legislators in Augusta who care about the health and welfare of all our citizens and can work with members of both parties to ensure that high quality legislation is enacted to achieve those goals.

I encourage people to join me in voting for Margaret Craven for the Legislature this November.
