NORWAY – Allen D. Corey, 76, of South Paris, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022 at Stephens Memorial Hospital. He was born in New Bedford, Mass. on Sept. 10, 1945, the son of Louis and Pauline West Corey.
He married Karen P. Miles in December of 1969. He had been a self-employed carpenter, owning Corey Construction for many years. He was a firefighter in Cedarville and Plymouth, Mass. He was an avid Star Trek and James Bond fan and loved to read westerns. He raised his children with a strong work ethic and to be realists.
Allen is survived by his wife, of South Paris; three children, Joelle Lee Corey, Justin Louis Corey and wife, Dianne, and Jason Howard Corey and wife, Jodi; eight grandchildren, Emily and husband, Kyle, Kirsten, Joshua and partner, Samantha, Rachel, Sarah, Michaella, Brianna and Tristen; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his dogs Pooples and Sophie.
