This sweet lady is Snow. When you look at her in her cage at the shelter, you’ll think she is very beautiful but you will keep on walking because she does not look like a friendly kitty. Snow is attention starved, but very cage stressed. She needs someone who will take a little time to get to know her out of her cage; someone who is willing to visit her several times at the shelter to form a bond with her.

Snow’s owners surrendered her as she was getting picked on by the other household cats. She would do best as an only pet, or with a very chill, old dog. She takes a minute to come out of her shell, but is an absolute love once she trusts you, which doesn’t seem to take long!

Her prior owners mentioned that she is part Siamese. We’d guess that she has a smidgen of Bengal in her as well due to some of her markings and personality quirks, but that’s just a guess. She will form a very strong bond with *her* human. A quiet home with no young children would be her best forever spot. Could you be Snow’s special person and give her that quiet home she needs to blossom?

Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County.
