LEWISTON – Sandra L. Travers, 81, a resident of Greene, passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2022 at Central Maine Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1941 in Lewiston, the daughter of Ellery Frost and Mildred (Harrington) Frost. She was educated in the Winthrop schools. On July 31, 1993 in Winthrop, she married Virgil Travers. Virgil passed away in 2007. Sandra worked at Mardens and John’s Dry Cleaning. She was an avid sewer, making clothes for her young children and crocheting, making the most beautiful Barbie doll clothes, blankets, afghans and sweaters. But mostly she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Michele Provencher and former husband Shawn of Lewiston and Catherine Mosher of Virginia; two sons, Richard Mosher and wife Tracey of Florida and Lewis William Mosher, Jr. (Bill) and wife Virginia of Auburn, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, a brother Clarence Frost, and Donna Remillard of Auburn, who loved her as much as her own mother and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Virgil Travers, and a brother Paul Frost. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.
