Personal information (hobbies, etc.):
Born and raised in the hills of Western Maine I am proud to call our region home. For eight generations my family has operated Hall Farms of East Dixfield. Together with my brother and father we maintain a herd of organic dairy cattle. Additionally we produce Maine maple syrup, tapping over 10,000 trees annually. Off the farm, I am the Fire Chief of East Dixfield Fire Department, as well as involved in a number of community organizations. My family and I can also be found exhibiting our cattle at a number of Maine fairs.

Define what “success” would look like if you are elected to serve your district.
As representative, I work to ensure that the people of my district have a fair and passionate voice in the State House to protect and advocate for the fiscal responsibility of our government and to protect the future of Maine’s next generation. Additionally, I will continue to advocate for and encourage more opportunities for the trades industry that our region so heavily relies on for economic success.

Characterize your view on public access to governmental business.
I feel as though transparency is important and we should encourage our constituents to be aware of any business occurring in Augusta. In the days of social media and the ease of ability to spread misinformation, it is important to have the ability to view things directly from the source.
