I write in support of Ed Rabasco for district attorney.
I have known Ed for many years. I can say that he is honest, smart, and a real leader. People respect his opinion and rely upon his good advice.
He can take complicated situations and figure out what is the best course. When he tells someone he wants to do something, he does it.
He will try new approaches to break the cycle of repeated domestic violence. He will find novel ways to address the root of most crime: substance abuse and addiction.
He understands we will not control crime unless we control drug addiction. Instead of spending tax dollars for people to stay in jail waiting for trials, they can be out and in treatment as a condition of bail.
We need new ideas and approaches. Ed has the vision to do just that.
