LEWISTON — The city has announced that Angelynne S. Amores is the new director of marketing and communications.
Angelynne S. Amores hired as the city of Lewiston’s new director of marketing and communications.
Amores brings an extensive background in marketing and communications that includes local, state and federal governments, along with private sector and nonprofit work.
In her role, Amores will create, implement and manage marketing initiatives, strategic branding and oversee website and social media for the city. She will also serve as the primary resource for internal and external city communications.
Her work in government includes the communications offices for the mayor of Chicago, states of Illinois and Indiana, Indiana attorney generals offices and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Her private sector experience includes national and local internet providers.
She received her master of science in communication from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from St. Mary-of-the-Woods in Terre Haute, Indiana.
