RUMFORD — Terrific weather brought a large crowd out Saturday for the 10th annual River Valley Pumpkin Fest in downtown Rumford.

The streets will filled with food trucks, vendors, artists, bake sale and lots of activities for all ages.

There was also a giant climbing rock wall for kids, as well as a pumpkins for kids to carve, display and take home.

Kids in costume went from vendor to vendor to collect Halloween candy, with prize bags presented to those of all ages with great costumes.

Because of all the rain the day before, the Duck Race this year was not done from the canal. Instead, it consisted of fishing the winning ducks with a net from a makeshift pool, with $500 for first prize, $250 for second and a $100 gift certificate for third.
