I am a retired Lewiston firefighter and lifelong Lewiston resident. I am voting for Peggy Rotundo for state Senate.

I wasn’t surprised to learn that the Maine Chapter of the International Association of Fire Fighters just endorsed Peggy. During her time in the Legislature, Peggy made sure that we got the funding needed for Lewiston’s firefighting services. She is committed to making sure all our first responder services are funded to keep people safe and be there when needed.

Peggy doesn’t sing her own praises. She doesn’t talk about all the things she’s done — from helping people get life-saving medical treatment to being the one who made sure the 2004 Red Sox World Series Trophy stopped here in Lewiston.

I’m happy to do my part by writing this letter — because Peggy does more than her part to help all of us.
