BRIDGTON — Rotarians delivered dictionaries Oct. 24 to third graders at Crooked River Elementary School in Casco and Stevens Brook School.
They also delivered the books to students at Bridge Crossing Academy in Bridgton, according to a news release from Carol Madsen, Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club.
“This year we were back in person in the classrooms, seeing the happy smiles on the youngsters as they leafed through their new dictionaries. It was very special,” said Rotarian Erin Nelson, who chairs the project for the club.
President Aaron Hagan said, “Any parent of a third grader without a dictionary, should contact me at [email protected]. We will get the dictionary to you.”
