Ann Rachel Piteau Lavoie
LEWISTON – Ann Rachel Piteau Lavoie, 70, passed away on Dec. 9, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston with her family by her side.
Ann was born on July 22, 1951, in Augusta, the daughter of George and Rena (Levesque) Piteau. She attended schools in Augusta and graduated from Lewiston High School.
Ann worked in the shoe industry and later at St. Mary’s Hospital in the nursing facility. She enjoyed music, cleaning, and above all, being surrounded by her family.
Ann was predeceased by her parents; her son, Craig Martin; sisters Anita, Theresa, and Connie, and her brother, Robert Piteau.
She was survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald Roger Lavoie; her son, Michael Lavoie, her stepson, Don Lavoie, Jr. and his partner Mellessa Dunphy, three step-grandsons; one great-grandchild; sisters-in-law Denise and Gerry Legere, Elize and Charles Pelletier, and Claudette Dionne, brother, Raymond Piteau and sister, Monique Piteau. Ann will be dearly missed.
Services will be held on Nov. 10. A memorial gathering will take place at Funeral Alternatives 25 Tampa St. Lewiston at 10 a.m., followed immediately by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Committal services will follow in the chapel at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston.
