Carolyn “Carrie” Rinaldo

RUMFORD – Carolyn “Carrie” Rinaldo, 81, died Wednesday Nov. 23, 2022, at her residence in Rumford.

Born in Phillips, Maine, on Nov. 4, 1941, she was a daughter of Kenneth “Brick” and Nancy (Ketchum) Whorff. Carrie was a graduate of Phillips High School and worked as a Dietary Supervisor for local nursing homes. She also owned and operated MA’S Place Restaurant in Rumford and well-known for her cream puffs. She enjoyed taking walks in the woods and enjoying nature with her husband Jim. She had incredible work ethic and was an accomplished artist.

Carrie was married for 44 years to her husband James “Jim’ Rinaldo who survives of Rumford. Other survivors include her sons, Gary Warren and companion Missy Ellis of Peru and Michael Warren of Phillips, a daughter, Melissa Walton and companion Jeff Payeur of Canton, a sister Constance Covert of Washington State, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter and her dog Willow. She was predeceased by a brother Richard “Dicky” Whorff.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon Tuesday Nov. 29, 2022, at the Parish of The Holy Savior 126 Maine Ave, Rumford. Interment will be in St John Cemetery in Rumford.
