LISBON — Lisbon pulled away in the second quarter and ran to a 66-33 MVC boys basketball win over Buckfield on Tuesday.

Levi Tibbetts scored a game-high 17 points for the Greyhounds (1-1), who outscored the Bucks (0-2) 24-8 in the second. Aidan Parker added 12 points for the Greyhounds.

Ayden Jefferson paced the Bucks with 14 points.

ST. DOMINIC 57, ISLESBORO 32: Taylor Varney paced the Saints (1-1) with 23 points in a win over the Eagles (0-1) in Auburn.

Campbell Perryman added 15 points for St. Dom’s.

Dylan Frak led Islesboro with 11 points and Robert Conover pitched in with seven.

WINTHROP 79, WISCASSET 13: Cole Bard scored 15 points as the Ramblers (1-1) handled the Wolverines (0-1).
Braden Branagan and Carter Rivers added 11 points apiece for Winthrop.

Dylan Akers led Wiscasset (0-1) with 9 points.

POLAND 62, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 46: The Knights (1-1) drained 12 3-pointers, including Hayden Christner dropping in five of his seven in the second half, in a WMC win over the Panthers (1-1) in Poland.

Christner finished with a game-high 21 points, with all of them coming from behind the arc. John Patenaude added 19, including a pair of 3s of his own in the first quarter.

Cal Nice paced NYA with 15 points, and Moses Semuhoza pitched in with 13.

DIRIGO 58, BOOTHBAY 36: Nathaniel Wainwright and Dakota Tompkins each had 15 points for the Cougars (2-0) in the win over the Seahawks (0-1) in Boothbay.

Charlie Houghton scored 12 points for Dirigo.

Finn Harkins had 13 points for Boothbay.

MT. BLUE 67, SKOWHEGAN 45: Evans Sterling was the Cougars’ (2-0) offensive catalyst with 33 points in the win over the River Hawks (0-2) in Farmington.

Chandler Briggs and Nolan Leso each dropped in eight points in the victory.

Kyle and Colin Lepage scored 14 points apiece for Skowhegan.

HAMPDEN ACADEMY 65, EDWARD LITTLE 44: Zach McLaughlin led the Broncos (2-0) with 29 points in the win over the Red Eddies in Hampden.

JJ Wafington chipped in with 15 points for Hampden Academy.

Landon Cougle paced Edward Little with 15 points while Tudum Monday and Eli St. Laurent each notched nine.

BIDDEFORD 50, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 45, OT: Travis Edgerton dropped in 16 points for the Tigers (1-1) in an overtime victory over the Patriots (1-1) in Gray.

Julius Sliva chipped in with 13 points.

Max Kenney notched 16 points for Gray-New Gloucester and Michael Ryan added 11.

MADISON 79, TELSTAR 38: Callen Franzose had a game-high 28 points for the Bulldogs (1-0) in the win over the Rebels (0-1) in Bethel.

Wyatt Lilly paced Telstar with 12 points and Evan Leach finished with 10 points.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 60, BIDDEFORD 19:
Alexandra Portas scored 16 points and Ella Kenney added 13 to help the Patriots (2-0) pull away from the Tigers (0-2) at Biddeford.

Isabelle Morelli finished with 10 points for Gray-New Gloucester, which led 29-9 at halftime. Hannah Smith led Biddeford with six points.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 76, POLAND 27: Sarah English had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Angel Huntsman had 14 and 10 assists, powering the Panthers (2-0) to a win over the Knights (0-2) in Yarmouth.

Madilyn Onorato added 14 points and six rebounds for North Yarmouth Academy.

Althea Thornton scored 18 points for Poland.
