Jacob Bigras and Luke Panchisin each tallied a goal and an assist to lead the Boston Advantage past the Twin City Thunder 4-3 in a shootout in a USPHL NCDC contest in Rockland, Massachusetts, Saturday night.

The Thunder led for the first two periods, with Cullen McCormick scoring late in the first period for a 1-0 lead. Lewiston native Dominic Chasse provided the assist.

Edvin Robertsson scored in the middle period, giving the Thunder a 2-0 lead.

Bigras factored in on back-to-back power-play goals in the middle of the third period. He got the Advantage on the board 9 minutes and 55 seconds into the period and 10 seconds later he assisted on Panchisin’s man-advantage goal.

Caden Butler scored a couple of minutes later, giving the Advantage a 3-2 lead.

Chasse scored in the final minutes to force overtime. Linemate Trace Norwell notched the assist.

After a scoreless overtime session, Boston’s Arik Altman was the lone goal-scorer in the three-round shootout.

Nicholas Bevilacqua made 35 saves in the win and Christopher Jackson recorded 32 saves for the Thunder.
