Paul A. Biron

TOGUS – Paul A. Biron, 73, a resident of Kenney Road in Leeds passed away peacefully at the VA Hospice Saturday Jan. 7, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on March 7, 1949, the daughter of Lionel and Elvina (Caron) Biron.

Following his education, Paul served in the United States Army where he had fought during Desert Shield.

After serving his Country he was employed as a truck driver for Prime Trucking in Lewiston for many years.

Paul married the former Diane Vaillancourt on Sept.1, 1969 and were married for over 53 years.

His hobbies included hockey, softball, bowling, and visiting grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Diane of Leeds; two daughters, Nicole Robichaud and husband, Wayne of Oxford, and Denise Powers of Walpole, N.H.; five brothers, Gerald Biron and wife Pauline of Lewiston, Thomas Biron of Florida, Lionel Biron and wife Suzanne of Lewiston, Michael Biron and wife Michelle of Greene, and John Biron and wife Charlene of New Gloucester. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jennifer, Travis, and Justin Robichaud; as well as four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Paul’s life will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday Jan. 13 at Sacred Heart Church. Committal prayers with military honors will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Maine Veterans Cemetery on Mt. Vernon Rd. in Augusta.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday Jan. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway Lewiston.
