Paul G. Sevigny

LEWISTON – Paul G. Sevigny, 83, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 29, 2022 at his home. He was born in Auburn on May 22, 1939, the son of Josephat and Estelle (Brodeur) Sevigny. He was educated in Lewiston schools and the University of Southern Maine.

Paul cherished his family and enjoyed researching the Sevigny family genealogy. He traveled to Utah and Quebec in search of documentation and traced the Sevigny line back to the French court of King Louis the XIV.

He was predeceased by his parents; brother Donald Sevigny, and sister Doris Featherstone.

He is survived by sister-in-law Carol Sevigny; nieces, Brenda Sevigny-Killen and husband Garrett, Lisa Sevigny and husband Shorta, and nephew Jeffrey Sevigny and wife Constanza Lisdero; and numerous great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.

There will be no services. Interment will be in the spring at St Peter’s Cemetery, Lewiston.
