AUBURN – Melissa Lee Knight (Lussier) born Jan. 15, 1969, passed away peacefully on Jan. 12, 2023, at Hospice House with her family beside her. She spent the last six and a half years struggling to fight a rare lung disease.

She was the daughter of Lionel Lussier of Auburn. She grew up in Lewiston where she started her own family of three beautiful children, son Ryan Poulin (and Jill McMillan) of Norway, daughter Heather Poulin of South Paris and son Adam Poulin (and Victoria Kennedy) of South Paris. She is also blessed with five amazing grandkids, Aubree Tozier, Landon Poulin, Carter Poulin, Carson Stuart and Eileen Poulin. She was predeceased by her grandfather Roland Pelletier and grandmother Ora Pelletier.

She spent her career in the medical field and was blessed to have so many great coworkers and friends throughout her career. Her children wish to thank all those family, friends and coworkers that have stood by her side and supported her in many ways.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris. Online condolences may be shared with her family at http://www.chandlerfunerals.com.
