Eddie

♫ Come and listen to a story ’bout a dog named Ed.
Wandering the streets, trying to keep his belly fed
Then one day he was looking for some food
When in from the right came the ACO dude.

Animal Control Officer, that is.

♫ Well the next thing you know ol Ed’s a shelter dog
He’d rather be a playing or going for a jog
He’s a really great boy and I’m sure you would agree
You can find him at the shelter in the town of South Paree

Maine, that is. Not many swimming pools, even fewer movie stars…

Eddie is a good, lively, and goofy boy who will be such a good buddy and adventure partner. He loves to run around and burn off some energy (playing ball will make him very happy) and then he’s happy to hang out and do the stuff you like to do. Eddie has a lot of personality and is a fun boy. He has been at the shelter for many months, and we don’t know why someone hasn’t scooped him up. He’s a bit too bouncy to be around young children, and would do best as an only dog until he gains more confidence around dogs. Eddie has been working with our volunteer trainer and really loves the work and has been doing really well with it.

♫ Now it’s time to think about if you would be Ed’s kin,
He would like to thank you all for reading about him
Fill out our application if you’d like to meet Eddie,
And have a heapin’ helpin’ of his hospitality.

Face licking, tail-wagging, that is. Play ball a spell. Keep your shoes on.
