WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
CMCC 105, NHTI 44: Emily Strachan paced the Mustangs (22-2 overall, YSCC 12-2) with 17 points in the win over the Lynx (4-11 overall, 3-8 YSCC) in Concord, New Hampshire.

Mikenzie Melendez and Rayna Duzant had 13 points coming off the bench. Elizabeth Barrientos, Chantel Ouellette and Destiny Mora Lopez all had 10 points for CMCC.

Janessa Lofton led all scorers with 19 points for NHTI and Jessica Allen had 15 points.

BATES 54, WESLEYAN 46: Led by Morgan Kennedy and Meghan Graff, the Bobcats (13-10, 5-5 NESCAC) bolted to an early lead over the Cardinals (10-14, 3-7) en route to a conference victory at Alumni Gym in Lewiston.

Kennedy hit two 3-pointers and scored nine points and Graff scored six in the first quarter, after which Bates led 21-11. The Bobcats added five points to their lead in the second and were up 36-21 at halftime.

Graff finished with a game-high 20 points. She also grabbed a team-best eight rebounds. Kennedy tallied 10 points and four blocks, and Elsa Daulerio had nine points, seven rebounds and five blocks. As a team Bates blocked 12 shots.

Brooke Guiffre led Wesleyan with 10 points. Olivia Quinn and Alana Jones added eight points apiece, and Tori DaCosta contributed six points and 13 rebounds.

THOMAS 59, UMF 48: Kristina Perry led the Terriers (4-21, 3-11 NAC) with 17 points in a win over the Beavers (2-21, 1-13 NAC) in Farmington.

Elena Alderman finished with 12 points for Thomas and Gray-New Gloucester grad Samantha Fortin had 10 points.

Jacqui Hamilton led University of Maine at Farmington with 11 points and Rosalie White had 10 points.

NJIT 56, MAINE 54: The New Jersey Institute of Technology rallied from a four-point halftime deficit to take the lead in the third quarter and hand the University of Maine its third straight loss, 56-54, in an America East women’s basketball game in Orono.

Adrianna Smith had 23 points and eight rebounds for the Black Bears, who fall to 12-12 overall and 8-4 in the conference. Olivia Rockwood added 10 points.

Alejandra Zuniga had 16 points and Kenna Squier had 11, while Aria Myers and Trinity Williams each had 10 for NJIT (12-12, 7-5).

MEN’S BASKETBALL
UMF 120, THOMAS 75: The Beavers (17-7, 13-1 NAC) wrapped up the regular season with a decisive victory over the Terriers in Farmington.

Five players scored in double figures for UMaine-Farmington, which has won eight straight games: Terion Moss, Kyle Donlin and Jack Kane scored 16 apiece, Charlie Rask had 13 and Nathan Poulin finished with 11. Kane also had five blocks and Moss tallied four steals.

Parker Desjardins was Thomas College’s top scorer with 12 points, and Wyatt Thompson scored 11.

NHTI 80, CMCC 66: Sean Riley had a game-high 18 points for the Lynx in the win over the Mustangs in Concord, New Hampshire.

James Jones Jr. and Jonathan Hernandez had 16 points apiece for New Hampshire Technical Institute while Jackson Ruelke had 11 points.

Cam Pollock, Boston Caldwell and Mpore Semuhoza each had 13 points for Central Maine Community College.

WESLEYAN 83, BATES 76: Gabe Ravetz had a game-high 33 points for the Cardinals (15-8)  in the win over the Bobcats (7-16) in Middletown, Connecticut.

Nicky Johnson dropped in 27 for Wesleyan.

Steph Baxter led Bates with 22 points while Jahmir Primer had 18 points. Trace Gotham got to double-digits with 10 points.

NJIT 65, UMAINE 50: Kevin Osawe had 14 points as the Highlanders (7-17, 4-7 America East) cruised to a win over the Black Bears (10-15, 4-8) in Newark, New Jersey.

Kellen Tynes had 14 points for UMaine.
