The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches, which presents the Mr. and Miss Maine Basketball awards, announced the finalists Friday.

Carson, a senior guard, is joined on the list of finalists by Gardiner’s Lizzy Gruber and Old Orchard Beach’s Elise MacNair.

Oxford Hills has one previous Miss Maine Basketball winner, Julia Colby, who won the award in 2020.

The three finalists for Mr. Maine Basketball are Thornton Academy’s Will Davies, Brewer’s Brady Saunders and Silvano Ismail of Cheverus.

Dirigo’s Charlie Houghton and Oxford Hills’ Cole Pulkkinen were previously named semifinalists for the Mr. Maine Basketball award.

The winners will be announced March 10 at the MABC banquet in Bangor.
