Double the love and twice the fun, June and Jaye are a bonded pair of Miniature Pinschers. They find themselves at the shelter after their owner passed away. At 11 and 8 years old, losing their person and their home was very upsetting to them. But we have started to see more and more of their personalities come out in the past few weeks since their arrival.
The girls are entertaining to watch and enjoy being lap dogs. They are spunky and adorable. Jaye is the more outgoing of the pair with people. They both rely on each other for companionship, fun, and security. They each weigh around 15 pounds. They don’t need to be with you all the time, though. They also enjoy holding their own board meetings during which they make executive decisions for the household, plot world domination, and talk about how you are just like your mother. They do want to be the only pets in the household. They are a bit snooty that way. Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris and is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (Other days by appointment).

Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway and the store’s winter hours are Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All the money raised at Pawsibilities supports RPC.
