NORWAY — The Western Maine Art Group is set to present an “It’s Spring” exhibit of artwork by its members through Saturday, April 29 at the Matolcsy Art Center, 480 Main St. The group includes artists whose work encompasses all media and styles. A reception is planned for 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 7.

Artists include Ulla Hansen, Suzanne Hardy, Mitch Benedict, Barbara Traficonte, Sandra Pealer, Peter Herley, Jud Pealer, Connie McVey, Deb Deshon, and Michael Everett, all from the Norway-South Paris area, according to a news release from Michael Everett with the art center.
Beginning Saturday, April 8, the exhibit will be open from noon to 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, by appointment, and whenever the “OPEN” sign is displayed. The museum is trying to be open more often.
