LEWISTON — Stanton Bird Club is scheduled to offer Thorncrag Nature Week from July 17-21.

Running from 9 a.m. to noon, the program is designed to engage students 5 to 10 years old in natural history as observed in the Thorncrag Sanctuary.

The sanctuary’s main entrance in on Montello Street.

Each day will focus on a different aspect of nature, including ponds, trees, birds and insects, and will include a hike and a craft activity related to the day’s topic, according to a news release from Jeri Maurer, president of the Stanton Bird Club board.
