Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival plans to celebrate its 59th festival Aug. 24-27 at the Litchfield Fairgrounds, 30 Plains Road in Litchfield.
The festival will feature a lineup of performers, the Blistered Fingers Kids Academy, vendors and more.
The free, three-day music program for children for ages 6-18 will focus on how to play, sing and perform bluegrass music. Students can bring their own instruments and must commit to the three-day program. Participants all get a free T-Shirt and will perform a couple of songs as a group on the Main stage.
Performers will include Nothin Fancy, The Kody Norris Show, Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass, Dave Adkins, Deeper Shade of Blue, Katahdin Valley Boys, Larry Efaw & The Bluegrass Mountaineers, Back Woods Road, Bear Tracks, Robinson’s Bluegrass Gospel, and your host band Blistered Fingers.
Tickets cost $25 for Thursday, $40 for Friday or Saturday, $100 for a festival pass (includes camping), free for children 16 and younger with a paying adult.
