We had fewer than a dozen correct answers for last week’s Mystery Photo of the John T. Jenkins Memorial Footbridge that spans the Androscoggin River between Lewiston and Auburn. The trestle once carried trains over the river into downtown Lewiston. In 2022, the bridge was renamed after the Bates College graduate and mayor of both Lewiston and Auburn. He died of cancer in 2020. In a random drawing from all the correct answers, Jacqueline Couillard of Lewiston was picked as the winner of a $25 Hannaford Supermarket gift card.
