MaryAnn (Habershaw) Gleezen

AUBURN – MaryAnn was born in Providence, R.I., to Robert Habershaw and Marie Irene (Hall) Habershaw.

MaryAnn graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1959 and furthered her education at Worcester State College and at the University of Arizona. MaryAnn married Kerry Gleezen in 1974 and settled in Lancaster, Mass. After their kids graduated, they moved to Minot. Kerry passed away in 2010.

MaryAnn married Roland Roux in 2015, but he passed away the following year. Following Roland’s death, MaryAnn was kept busy with her children and grandchildren.

MaryAnn suffered through various illnesses, especially over the past year, and was residing at Clover Manor where she was taken care of by the most compassionate and caring nurses and CNAs that have ever existed.

MaryAnn was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Irene; her sisters Susan Root and Catherine Eklund; and her husband, Kerry Gleezen.

She is survived by her children, Ian Gleezen and his wife Andrea of Minot, Meghan Gleezen-Davis and her husband Nathan of Livermore, and Owen Gleezen and his wife Ashley of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and her grandchildren, Adeline and Henry Davis, Briar and Rylee Bedard and will miss meeting her newest grandson, Rhys. She is also survived by her brothers Charlie Habershaw of Athol, Mass., and Peter Habershaw of Chaumont, N.Y.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the North Auburn Cemetery on June 1, at 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at the Gleezen Residence in Minot.
