LOVELL — Police on Wednesday were searching for an 87-year-old woman with cognitive issues who left her home about 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert for Dorothy Hagar of Lovell on Wednesday afternoon.

Police described Hagar as a white female, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing roughly 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, police said.

“She is driving a silver 2010 Chevrolet Impala with Maine registration 9466WM,” according to the alert. “Dorothy may have traveled to the Mid Coast area of Maine. If located, please contact the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office at 207-743-9554 or Maine State Police, 207-624-7076.”
