LEWISTON — Little Dragon Integrative Medicine, led by John Alsobrooks, has opened at 369 Main St. Suite 1. It offers a blend of traditional and modern healing practices designed to promote optimal health and well-being.

The business combines evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs. The practice’s services includes acupuncture, microneedling, custom herbal formulas, nutritional counseling, Asian bodywork therapy, moxibustion and mindfulness practices.

It also offers affordable treatment options to make integrative health care accessible to all, as well as workshops and lectures, fostering a healthier and more informed community.

Alsobrooks graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and Mandarin Chinese from the University of Maine at Farmington before moving to Beijing, China, where he earned his medical degree at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He spent over a decade studying and practicing integrative traditional Chinese and modern medicine at various hospitals and clinics in Beijing.
