Vote on June 11 at Norway Town Hall for the state primary, town election, and SAD #17 budget.

The annual Town Meeting is set for June 17 at 7 p.m. at OHCHS.

Here are some Upcoming Programs by Norway Parks and Recreation:

• Swim Lessons will start on July 22 and run through August 9. Sign-ups are available at the Town office or online at The fee will be $35 for Norway Residents; and $40 for Non-Residents.

• There will be a Bird House Painting event on June 26 at 6 p.m. in The Norway Town Office Meeting Room. There is a $15 registration fee; space is limited; birdhouses will be provided with a Registration fee.

Cottage Street Recreation Park’s Basketball courts are open. Please pick up after yourself.


The Tennis and Pickleball nets are up. Tennis court lock keys can be found at the Norway Town Office. The fee is $25 for residents and $50 for nonresidents. The lock ensures that only Tennis and Pickleball are played on the courts.

Lake Pennesseewassee Park and Playgrounds are open from dawn to dusk. Come enjoy a day at the park playing on one of our 2 playgrounds, Basketball & volleyball courts, or enjoy a picnic on one of our many waterfront tables.

Reminder, per the Norway Cemetery policy, that over time headstones and cornerstones may shift or settle below the surface of the ground. It is the responsibility of the owners to keep these markers flush with the ground. Headstones, markers, or cornerstones that are damaged, broken, or hard to read are the responsibility of the lot owner or their heirs. The Town may contact the owner and request repairs be completed for the headstones to conform to these policies.

The next Planning Board Meeting will be held on June 13. Planning Board meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 7 p.m. at the Town Office.

The next Select Board meeting is June 6. Select Board meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7 p.m. at the Town Office.
