WOW!

That was my reaction when I read the answers submitted by Kerryl “Lee” Clement for your June 7 candidate profiles for Maine House Election 2024.

In answering question two of your survey, “Name one issue the Legislature got wrong last session,” Kerryl replied “… the process of not working together to create positive solutions for the people of Maine is not the way to conduct the people’s business.”

And I said, “WOW!”

And Kerryl said, “Political gimmicks and gamesmanship fail the people and need to end forthwith.”

And I said, “WOWWW!”

When it came to question three of your survey, “Characterize your view on public access to governmental business,” Kerryl said, “The people’s business needs to be conducted with total transparency.”

And I said, “WOW!”

And Kerryl said, “No secret meetings, midnight caucuses or so-called public hearings held without proper notice.”

And I said, “WOWWW!”

WOW!
