We had some wildly incorrect guesses — from Boothbay to Freeport and points between. However, we did receive a fair number of correct guesses and some interesting anecdotal stories. The rusty vehicle is on the side of Route 4 in Turner at Richardson Enterprises at 2043 Auburn Road. In a random drawing from all the correct entries, Tom Peters of Canton was picked as the winner of a $25 Hannaford Supermarket gift card. One of our entrants, John Bosse, told us that a local jam band named “Rusted Relics” took a group photo last fall with this “rusted relic.”
