Donald Trump has now lost three of the cases recently brought against him, and although I cannot predict the future, there’s every reason to believe that guilty verdicts are in his future.
I would submit that the moral thing the Republican Party should do, given the handwriting on the wall, is to do the right thing and dismiss him as their candidate, as this is a travesty to the country in the making.
Why would the party want to continue to support a person who, now a convicted felon, certainly doesn’t meet the standard of what a presidential candidate’s qualifications should be? The people deserve better than this.
The “didn’t do anything wrong” ship has sailed.
