The First Universalist Church of Auburn has awarded its 2024 Rose Window honors, to Paula Spruill of Sabattus and Luke Lunt of Lewiston, for making a significant impact on the health and vibrancy of the church.

Spruill serves as chair of the Membership Committee, welcoming newcomers and making them feel at home. Spruill organizes two membership sessions per year, and maintains the directory for the congregation. She has also become the basket queen, leading a team that assembles the church’s signature gifts for the holiday fair, according to a news release from the church.

Lunt is the founder and chair of the Hospitality Committee, promoting fun and fellowship within church community. He shares his baking skills, and hosts game nights and trivia contests. Lunt also serves as a worship associate, assisting the minister with Sunday services.
