FARMINGTON — Democrats in Farmington and Chesterville will meet July 8 to nominate a candidate for state representative in House District 75.
State Rep. Scott Landry, D-Farmington, announced he will retire from the Legislature after serving for six years.
The nominating caucus will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the W. G. Mallett School, 116 Middle St. Any Democrat living in Farmington or Chesterville is eligible to be considered by the caucus to fill the seat, and all Democrats living in the two towns are welcome to participate.
