The North Atlantic Blues Festival — celebrating its 30th anniversary — is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14, at the Public Landing in Rockland. The nationally acclaimed festival was winner of the 2002 “Keeping the Blues Alive Award” for promoters of the year. In 2021, over 15,000 blues fans attended the popular event.

This year’s festival will present Buckwheat Zydeco Jr — following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Buckwheat Zydeco — on Saturday night. Headlining on Sunday is Mud Morganfield, son of the great Muddy Waters.
