LEWISTON — City crews on Wednesday repaired a broken water main beneath Campus Avenue near the Lewiston Middle School.
Workers went out shortly before 10 a.m. and dug up the street as water gushed onto the roadway. A section of Campus Avenue was closed down for a short time between Central Avenue and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
The roadway was reopened a short time later after repairs were made. No major traffic issues were reported.
