Roman Anthony hit an inside-the-park home run in sixth inning and the Portland Sea Dogs beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 7-3, on Thursday in Manchester, New Hampshire, to earn their fifth straight win.
Nick Decker also homered in the sixth inning as Portland jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Tyler Miller had an RBI double in the second inning and Alex Binelas an RBI single in the fifth.
New Hampshire scored once in the sixth and twice in the seventh to pull within one, but the Sea Dogs scored three runs in the top of the ninth to pull away.
Elih Marrero added a two-run single for Portland. Decker drove in a pair of runs.
Wikelman Gonzalez allowed one hit, struck out three and walked one in three scoreless innings for the Sea Dogs. Christopher Troye allowed one run on three hits, struck out five and walked two in three innings to earn the win. Felix Cepeda pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings to earn his 12th save.
