NORWAY — The Norway Center Church welcomes guest minister Pastor AJ Alexander on Sunday, July 14 at 10 a.m. Anna-Jean “AJ” Alexander is a Certified Lay Minister of the United Methodist Church. She is a member of the Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church in Harrison and is the Director of the Table Ministries in the Oxford Hills area, with primary locations at 160 Main St. Norway and the Norway Grange.

She was the Pastor at Deering Memorial in Paris for the five years before its closing in September of 2015. She has worked at John F. Murphy Homes, Inc. in Auburn for 34 years, and currently is the Coordinator of Adult Behavioral Services. She is an active member and cottage owner at the Empire Grove Camp Meeting Association in Poland.

She is a lifelong resident of Harrison, where she and her husband raised their five children. We also welcome Anne Bernard, pianist, and soloist, Karianna Merrill, niece of Pastor Alexander. All denominations are welcome. Coffee and refreshments will be served after the worship service.
