POLAND SPRING — BlueTriton Brands, through its Poland Spring brand, has awarded $2,500 scholarships to six Maine high school seniors as part of its annual Good Science Scholarship program. This year’s recipients are:
Poland Regional High School: Talen Langevin, engineering.
Gray-New Gloucester High School: Amelia Bowie, political science.
Bonny Eagle High School: Allie Hesler, environmental science, and Xavier Lemieux, biology.
Fryeburg Academy: Margaret Albert, environmental and conservation science.

Poland Spring has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships since the program’s inaugural year in 2007. Qualifying Maine seniors must attend a Poland Spring host community high school, plan to pursue a degree or training in life science, physical science, earth science, engineering or environmental science or policy, or similar field and submit an essay highlighting what environmental stewardship means to them.
