The McG United Soccer Academy will accommodate any of those who will be registering a player on July 22 at the LAYSA fields. Walk-in registration will run between 8:30- 9:00 a.m.

All pre-registered players will be checked in at the same time. The Academy runs from 9-11:30 a.m. for 5-, 6- and 7-year-olds; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for 8- to 11-year-olds and Friday the last session will end at 1:45 p.m. The Elite group (12-year-olds and older) and Butch Dow’s GoalKeepers School will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday’s sessions will end at 2:45 p.m.

Parents and other adults bringing players to the Academy are urged to be patient and careful as there will be a lot of people and cars going in and out of the complex.

The players should wear soccer footwear and shin pads. Each player is asked to bring a well-marked soccer ball. Players are also asked to bring a mid-morning snack and a lunch. Other items to bring will be a gear bag to hold a change of socks or clothing in case of rain, sunscreen is highly recommended, a water bottle is very important (players will be able to refill them as water will be available).
