The 2024 Loon Echo Trail Race Series is set to kick off Saturday, Aug. 3.
The inaugural trail running race series takes place across three trail networks owned and managed by Loon Echo Land Trust. All proceeds support LELT trails and conservation work, according to a news release from Maggie Lynn, the trust’s director of partnerships.
Fluvial 5K — Crooked River Forest, Saturday, Aug. 3, 4 p.m., cost: $25. Fluvial Brewing, 860 Maple Ridge Road, Harrison.
Bald Pate Mountain 10K — Saturday, Sept. 7, 9 a.m., cost: $35. Five Fields Farm, 720 South Bridgton Road, Bridgton.
Pleasant Mountain Race, half marathon — Saturday, Oct. 5, 8 a.m., cost: $75 (before Sept. 1). Pleasant Mountain East Lodge, 305 Mountain Road, Bridgton.
The trust maintains recreational trails in Raymond, Casco, Naples, Harrison, Sebago, Bridgton and Denmark.
Runners who sign up for one race in the series receive $5 off another race in the series.
