AUBURN — A car crashed into a porch Tuesday morning on Third Street, according to police.

A utility truck was traveling south on Third Street and making a left turn onto Roak Street at about 10:41 a.m., Lt. Anthony Harrington said.

At the same time, a 2005 Honda Accord driven by Juan Toaquiza Ugsha, 29, of Lewiston was traveling north on Third Street exceeding the speed limit and swerved to avoid the utility truck, Harrington said.

The car went off the road, struck a sign, then hit the porch of a building at 104 Third St., Harrington said.

There were no reported injuries, he said.
