OTISFIELD — The Bell Hill Meetinghouse, Otisfield, will host retired Maine wildlife biologist and author Ronald Joseph for a program on Sunday, July 28 at 4 p.m. Joseph will share stories of growing up in rural Maine, working as a wildlife biologist, and meeting interesting Mainers along the way. His stories are sometimes humorous, sometimes bordering on the absurd, and always engaging. Joseph will have copies of his first book Bald Eagles, Bear Cubs, and Hermit Bill: Memories of a Wildlife Biologist in Maine available after the program.
The program concludes with an ice cream social on the Meetinghouse Common. The one-room Schoolhouse will be open for tours. The program and ice cream social are free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted. All donations benefit the Save the Tower Fund.
