YARMOUTH — Artascope Studios has been awarded financial support from the Maine Arts Commission to offer free painting and drawing workshops at the annual Plein Air Art Festival, set for Wednesday to Saturday, Aug. 14-24 in Yarmouth.
Free activities include collage card making at the Yarmouth Farmers Market, Plein Air Art Tours in various locations throughout Yarmouth, and an all-day Fine Art and Craft Fair on Main Street on Aug. 24.
Many painting, drawing and printmaking workshops are being offered for a fee, with scholarships available.
